Projector bulb went out repeatedly and request for refund was ignored. Would love to support this neighborhood theatre more but it is suffering from active neglect. GRANDVIEW THEATRE MOVIEWatched a first run movie on premier night and there were plenty of seats. Reminds me of going to a movie in a small town. Brought him his popcorn and soda to his seat. The popcorn is pretty bad- the "butter" tastes like oily nothing, you pay $1.50 more for a few shakes of "flavoring", and its way over priced for the quality.įunny little theater. The (womens) bathroom is small, outdated and floor didnt feel clean. Pros: Seats are comfortable enough, they have great first-run movies, its a small local neighborhood movie house.Ĭons: The theater is stuffy and little musty. The theater doesnt say on its ads whether a movie is on the first floor or the second. Sure the movie I want is on the first floor since there is no elevator to the second, and I cant manage the stairs. I particularly like the movie offerings at the Grandview, but I always have to call and make Neither Mann theater (Grandview or Highland) has handicap accommodations, no elevator to get to the second floor. Highly recommend this theater for those who live in the Merriam Park, Mac-Groveland, or any other nearby neighborhoods in this part of St. Concessions were also very reasonably priced. Ticket prices are very cheap considering that they only have 2 screens, but its a very welcome sight because of how expensive movies can be at the big name theaters. Came here for the first time back in 2012 to see Skyfall, and boy was I glad I did.
